Oakleaf lettuce is a unique plant with a range of flavors once fully grown. Younger leaves take on a slightly sweet and nutty flavor, while the older leaves, well, they get a little grumpy, turning slightly bitter (like romaine lettuce)...but it's ok, we still love them.
 
Together, they provide a perfect blend of flavors, for salads, sandwiches, burgers, and the list goes on. Our lettuce, when stored in our "Peel & Reseal" bags, lasts 2 to 3 weeks from the delivery day.
